I found a transient rattle that was intermittent in my car. Here's a video of it that could be what you're referring to. This tube is responsible for sending washer fluid to the rear wiper, so if you're only hearing it sometimes the rear wiper moving could be stifling it.

It was surprisingly easy to remove with six bolts along the inner edge. 4 are hidden behind the rubber grommets.

Diagnosed and pinpointed a rattling sound from my rear seats when the car goes over rough patches of road.
I sound deadened the area with fuzzy Velcro strips cut to size and my rattle disappeared. Could be handy for those who might have the same issue.
It doesn’t. I’d recommend doing it though since it’s tough to get the headliner to pull down enough to route cables to the windshield without removing.
