Agree on the 20"! Weird size also, not too many options for tires. I don't know who decided this at Toyota Canada but it doesn't make sense. Heated steering wheel should be standard. We are up North.
And 7 seating, go buy a Highlander if you need this, it's a 4Runner, not a minivan to go the...
In Canada you are stuck with white, black or grey and 7 seats only for the SR5. Why 7 seats on the base model?
If you want the heating steering, get 4802$ more out of your wallet to get the TRD Sport as the SR5 doesn't let you add the option. At least the TRD Sport gives you 5 seats.
I just wish that, in Canada, we could get a SR5 with only 5 seats, a heated steering wheel and some color options. I don't understand the black, white or grey only options. And getting a heated steering requires to move up to the next model which is a 4k$ add-on. 7 seats on a basic model is also...
Good question from the OP. I was curious about the base 4WD of the 4Runner.
I can confirm this. I used to drive my Jeep Wrangler in snow all the time in 4wd with 3 peak snow tires (General Grabber) with no issues. I could drive in deep snow without worrying. And if it's icey, it's not the tire...
I hope they bring us some new options in Canada such as a SR5 with heated steering wheel and 5 seats only. Better color options for the SR5 would be nice.
I'd take a price drop too but this will never happen :ROFLMAO::LOL:
Base 1958 LC starts at 73k something but you gotta to add the close to 15% sales taxes (fed+prov) which gives the 84k'ish final price (in my screenshot) with all added other things such as destination and dealer's fees. At the rates they ask for financing them, it's quite a monthly payment...
Oh man, I forgot that one. When they announced that LC, I thought the 1958 was pretty cool and did like the overall look with the round headlights. What a disappointment when I saw the price and only 3 color choices! I understand it's a Toyota but c'mon!
Yep, well said. And a few minutes ago, I discovered through that group, that in the USA, you can get a SR5 with some nice colors that we don't have access.
And at +65k$ canadian with local taxes for a base SR5 (Quebec prices from Toyota's site), this is not a cheap vehicle, we could have at...
@ShaneNTenn congrats! Love the color. In Canada, the SR5 is only available in no colors: black, grey or white! That red is pretty nice.
Are these the stock wheels?
For me it's the weird options decisions from Toyota Canada. If you look at the two cheapest offerings:
SR5 = 7 seats only and no heated steering wheel and only white/black/grey as color choices!
TRD Sport = 5 seats and heated steering wheel and some more colors.
Why 7 seats on a SR5? And no...
