I’ve also been in the same boat. Between offset and wheel weight. Lightest I’ve found are scs, but they’re +20/22lb and have concerns of them sticking out too far. Next lightest is RRW at +25, but their inventory is hit or miss. Last method 703 +35, little heavier at 28 but gives a OEM+ look...
At this point I got the we couldn’t replicate, but I did go down a rabbit hole and sounds like this: https://www.landcruiserforum.com/threads/rattle-in-drivers-b-pillar-2024-lc.1341/page-4#post-69724
I am leaning toward +35, but I find more options +25.
Who’s gotten +25 and regretted how far they stick out?
Shooting Toyo open country at3 285/70/17
Circling back. Took it in for my 3k mile oil change and advised them of the rattle. They acknowledge that it was louder, but everything was tighten to spec. They did reach out to a Toyota rep.
It’s weird, mine is frequent but wouldn’t say consistent. Like if I make left hand turn over an uneven surface it can raddle. Also if close the door firmly you can hear it slightly too.
I’ve done some of the same research too. Regardless size it seems Toyota at3 and Nitto Terra grappler have some the lightest tires. Also, come in SL ratings. Also, rims add weight of course. Methods are super heavy, so I am leaning toward RRW
Anyone else experienced a rattle from the seat belt mechanism in the B-pillar? Almost sounds like metal ting coming in contact with part of the pillar.
