  1. Highest Mileage 6th Gen 4Runner (30,800 Highest Reported So Far)?

@Nodak this was during a long cold snap and after a 3 hour road trip with half of it being on slushy snow covered 2 lane roads and with cars heading the other direction kicking stuff up too. Based on that and what you see, I think the OEM running board and mud flaps do a pretty good job...
  2. OME MT64 lift kit installed (front set at 2.25") + Dobinsons C59-885V rear springs

@2012BAJA Looks like the perfect setup. I'm thinking the MT64s for my truck but maybe even setting them at their lowest setting. Good to know that there's a solid 1" rear spring option. Thanks for sharing!
  3. Highest Mileage 6th Gen 4Runner (30,800 Highest Reported So Far)?

  4. Fox 2.0 shocks installed on SR5 - review: comfort and handling significantly improved

Nice review. I had these on my old 100 series Land Cruiser and thought they rode great on it. I was wondering if they would be an option for the 6th gens so this is good feedback.

  6. Hitch bike rack recommendations for 4-bikes/family?

I think the story here is this guy worked for 1up or was affileated with them somehow but his goal was to make a better 1up. My buddy has one and loves it. He had a 1up before it. https://quikrstuff.com/?srsltid=AfmBOorqWdIpX3u5RiFvs4pNZXf6AMX1mTI-mz7okLMezfHrM_2ZxEDK
  7. Will the Stock Emergency Jack Work With 285/70R17 Tires?

Sounds like you are running a 285/75 vs the OPs 285/70 question??
  8. Wanting to keep the engine running when coming to a stop

Yeah my hybrid 4Runner spends all its time in Wisconsin and Ontario and the heat works just fine. But the auto off feature seems to turn the engine off a lot less in the winter too. Now in terms of reliability, who knows if its something that will wear out prematurely but as you eluded to...
  9. How're you lifting your 4runner? Ramps or floor jack + jack stands?

A good floor jack that doesn't take too many pumps to raise the truck will come in handy for years but it needs to have enough lift to it too as the front wheels will droop a lot when lifting. You can also use the floor jack in combination with jack stands to manipulate the rear axle when...
  10. Ironman 4x4 IM2.5 Stage 2 suspension on RRW RR7-S +25 offset wheels + Toyo Open Country AT3 Tires (265/70/17)

Nice setup. Got any more pictures of the wheel and tire setup? Curious what the 265s look like from the side.
  11. 2025 ORP "4Ronin" build: Dobinsons MRR springs, SXTH intake & intercooler, RRW wheels, Nitto Ridge Grappler 315/70/17 & more

Intercooler upgrade...I didn't know that this was a thing. Pretty awesome. Could you tell any difference after installing it? https://sxthelement.com/products/2024-toyota-tacoma-4runner-land-cruiser-front-mount-intercooler?variant=50200023892266
  12. 6th gen owners - why did you jump on a year 1 model of the refresh?

Ooooh 3rd gen manual! I had a 2000 3rd gen manual with the locking diff that I wish I hadn't ever sold. I hope you held on to yours!
  13. 6th gen owners - why did you jump on a year 1 model of the refresh?

Yeah never ever buy the first year of a redesign is what I always say! But I guess I forgot lol. I had a Tundra with 37s and really wanted something that got better gas mileage and having had 4 other 4Runners, I was really excited about the new one so I went for it. Since the Land Cruiser and...
