Most likely there will be no changes from 2026 to 2027. Except maybe a small price increase. Did you use the search inventory feature on Toyota's website? You could probably find one sooner.

I have a DC to DC charger from my Tundra that I am planning on wiring directly to the 12V battery, same as it was on my Tundra. I expect it to work the same in my OR hybrid. Do you know of a reason why it wouldn't?

Glad that helped @MikeD ! I leave mine off most of the time but was putting them on yesterday and started doubting how I had been installing them lol. The covers are also labeled too so you don't get those mixed up either. Not sure if it matters..

Just to resurrect an old thread and maybe this helps someone but the cross bars are also labeled left and right underneath the covers.

What about buying some OE wheels and having them powder coated? I have bronze RRWs but I sort of like OE wheels better so thought about going the powder coated route.

I think you answered this already as I was going to ask if you wanted to hybrid or non hybrid. That will determine what model you get. Sometimes I wish I had gone non hybrid for the simplicity of it but I do enjoy all the extra torque that comes with the hybrid. I'm pretty sure you can run...

I didn't listen to your video but my hybrid makes a similar clunk a little bit after turning it off and sitting in the truck. And it's not the electronic parking brake as its more from up front somewhere. Normal I assume...ignorance is bliss

What LC did you have? I had 100 series before the 4th gen 4Runner. Seats tumbled forward in it but there was still room for 2 mtn bikes lol. For winter snow biking I was able to get my fat bike in the back, standing up, but I had to wrestle it in there. It's a lot shorter than the mtn bikes.

Hauling mountain bikes inside is one of my biggest beefs with the 6th gen hybrid. I love it my 6th gen but sucks that there's not enough room for hauling. I could fit 2 bikes upright with the front wheels off in my 4th gen. I rarely carry passengers myself so this is why I was thinking about...
