I used the same device. I had an OBDlink MX+ I used to monitor CVT temps while towing with my Outback Wilderness. Never thought I’d have a use for it after the OBW was totaled. First thing I did was change speaker volume from 4 to 12. I also disabled ANC and ESE. Changed the turn signal to 5...
Did you tow before swapping out springs? I just got a Pro and will be pulling a small trailer (1500lb dry, but tongue heavy at 400lb). I figured I’d need airbags or new springs. Did those springs eliminate any squat?
Anyone use Carista first to increase the volume and then get this amp? I used Carista to increase the ”volume” from 4 to 10 and that made a huge difference. Curious if this amp would do anything “more.”
JBL system in a TRD Pro.
Quick question. The embossed TRD Pro on the tailgate. Did you add an insert? I bought a gloss black insert from Limitless. I thought that would pop on the matte.
I appreciate it. There is an Underground Pro in here that did something similar. I was on the fence about leaving stuff gloss. The installer that did this has done a few of my cars and he suggested leaving the flares glossy and we went from there. He actually did a Mudbath a few weeks before...
I absolutely love it! I'm looking forward to pulling my little square drop trailer out west this summer. I had a '23 Outback Wilderness that was totaled while I was at a stop light in November. I was pretty bummed, but everything worked out!
Thanks! 50% tint on the windshield. 20% tint on front two windows. 5% tint on the rest.
I’ll probably get some NYTOP rock sliders next. Bigger tires when I need them.
Great story! I am coming from a Subaru Outback Wilderness and towed a similar sized square drop. About ~1500 dry, but it’s tongue heavy as it has a slide out kitchen up front. Do you get any squat in back when towing?
First time 4Runner owner and got a great deal on a TRD Pro. Came from a 23 Subaru Outback Wilderness, which I loved. That was totaled and wanted something a little more capable to tow my square drop trailer. We put about 75000 miles on the OBW in a little over a couple years, and plan on doing...
