Rear Shocks Bottoming Towing/Hauling

Just returned from a road trip, not towing (yet) but a simulation via a heavy bike rack and a cargo compartment filled with camping gear. You can see from pic how far back the bike rack extends. Overall a great experience, however I can foresee needing adjustable rear shocks (ability to add compression) as they bottom on bumpy roads at speed. It’s not a violent bottom out but definitely firm. Maybe just better bump stops would be enough.

I’m sure there’s a theorem that will calculate the actual weight that is transferring with that contraption on the back.

No I decided to get air bags for the Tacoma and just use that if we're going to have a heavier load.
