It’s the parking sensors. Radar didn’t give me an error so unsure. My worry is the radar system is linked to the emergency braking control, so a sudden covering of it makes the car nail the brakes.
Is this a possibility?
It’s any modern car with sensors. My Cayenne does it, as does my wife’s Macan. Those are even more touchy. Best you can do is use a snow brush or knock if off I reckon.Hey all! is there anything that will help with this snow on the sensors?? LIGHT OIL,CERAMIC,WAX,RAINEX?? JUST WONDERING THANKS
works fine if you get a storm during the night and it passes thru. It’s any modern car with sensors. My Cayenne does it, as does my wife’s Macan. Those are even more touchy. Best you can do is use a snow brush or knock if off I reckon.

Yup, it is possible. We had an ice storm overnight the other day and the next morning my truck front sensor were covered by ice and all bells and whistles went off when I was trying to move forward and the truck slammed on the brakes pretty hard, very annoying. It seems that the sensors can’t make the difference between ice covering them and a real obstacle. My worry is the radar system is linked to the emergency braking control, so a sudden covering of it makes the car nail the brakes.
