Spoiler alert! I found an easily overlooked fact on a Taco forum exploring what you can and cannot use your inverter for. The inverter outlet is limited to 100W with the shift lever selected to “any other position besides P and N”. The maximum capacity is 120 VAC/400 W when the shift lever is in P or N.

I verified that our manual has the same language on page 491.

That sounds similar to our 5th gen. Which has been enough power for whatever the kid uses in the back seat.
But you can carry a portable power source if you need more power.

This thread is about a year old.. I was wondering if anyone ever found a work around for the inverter dropping down to 100w on the 6th gen 4runner?

I have a lithium battery powering a refrigerator.. It's working with an 8a battery charger, but I have a 25a charger that I'd love to be able to use.
