That does kind of suck in one way when you are trying to push stuff inside like branches, bags and boxes, but it appears you get some in floor storage where the seats were.
Keep in mind, you can ask the dealer to have port installed options removed assuming the vehicle is still in “build” status. The dealer should be able to work with Toyota to remove at least some of them and add ones you may want. I know from experience on my 25 ORP! I learned this from...
It should. Toward fall the landscape will look very different. Pricing should come down far under MSRP. I hear you on the full time AWD. I decided to just do the part-time ORP model. I love the rear wheel drive feel anyway and when I need all the wheels, I'll just switch it myself. Not ideal in...
The market is rapidly changing at least for the 1958. There is a ton of stock now and not many are selling. Discounts now are up to 8-9% without even trying! The premium model is still selling around MSRP tho.
Thanks. Well it has a moonroof as a factory option and it was loaded with PIO's, but a good amount of those got trimmed off by my request and the dealer advocating for it like the console safe, dashcam, scuff protectors, air filter, cargo cover and cables. Those are all off thankfully.
It has...
Depending on the dealer, they either wrote or typed it on the purchase contract. I'm in the midwest but I would try for it. There will be big demand to start I think, but that will fade toward the end of summer as supply perhaps surpassed demand. We will see.
Yes. Off-road Premium purchased off allocation with $500 down payment. Was able to remove some POI with dealer since the vehicle is in build stage. Delivery expected between 3/13-4/13.
Correct. The 1958 LC. Dealers are at 8% off MSRP right now on that model before any negotiating. As you suggested, I might just see what the first 4r non-hybrid units are like and perhaps LC pricing will come down even further by then since the gap between 4r model years will start to be filled...
It "could" impact any vehicle made/assembled across our borders, but I think it is mostly a threat at this point. The main focus seems to be with China and Mexico so there might be a more likely chance that the Tacoma's could see an impact with the Mexico production. Time will tell!
This is a good analysis as I've been decided between the two for a while now. My biggest question right now is would I be satisfied with the non-hybrid 4runner with the 19 gallon tank vs the hybrid LC with the 17.9 gallon tank balancing performance and range. The hybrid version of the 4runner is...
I read from someone else that the need for premium could be because the LC is a heavier vehicle. You can run regular in those engines, but you wouldn't get the performance. The big difference to me is that all of the new 4runners incl hybrid engines will have the 19 gal tanks where the LC's only...
A lot of owners of the LC 24/25 model years with the same MAX engine are getting around 21 mpg on good days. Could be roof racks, tires, wind and if you are using premium fuel playing into the results.
