Damn Platinum looks great and the Underground color too! Exciting to see the training 4Runners starting to make their rounds to dealerships. We're getting close folks!!
Here’s a video and photos of that TRD Sport someone posted yesterday. Great metallic paint.

From the trims configurations/options list, it looks like only Trailhunter and TRD Off-Road trims are getting the Everest color, so it'll be pretty exclusive 👍
Toyota has revealed official start of production schedule and info for the 2025 4Runner 6th Gen 🙌

Heard from my friend who works for one of the big publications -- Toyota just sent 2025 4runner press drive invites out. He wasn't comfortable sharing exact dates but confirmed that the event will happen in January 2025 and he can publish his review and info by February. So now we know at least...
I know the hybrid engine is the sexy newcomer that's getting a lot of the attention, but the nonhybrid should not be underestimated, just like @TigerEyeJazz concludes.
I just posted this thread about Tacoma owners getting up to 30 mpg on the highway with the i-Force nonhybrid. 👍...
Looks like if you drive it conservatively / hypermile, the nonhybrid i-Force engine can get up to 30mpg on highway.
See this owner's driving / trip report:

Good point about the lack of any ARB logo. And I'm with you on never leaving home without an air compressor. If this Trailhunter onboard compressor turns out to be well specced and reliable, it'll go far in helping sell the Trailhunter model IMO
TRD Pro kicking butt in terms of interest. Surprised Trailhunter isn't drawing more interest so far but that's probably just my own preference for it tainting my analysis of this chart 🤣
Have any of you guys/gals been able to get any promises of no dealer price markup / MSRP pricing?
Glad to join yall after lurking for a bit. Been driving and loving our 3rd gen Tacoma since we bought it new in 2019. Since I use it for both home and work, been thinking about adding a hybrid 4Runner. Lovin what I see of the Trailhunter 4Runner so far but will have to see how much its priced...
Anyone know the specs of the onboard air compressor in the 6th gen Trailhunter 4Runner? Is it an ARB Air Compressor? The Tacoma Trailhunter has lots of ARB parts on it already, so would actually be surprised if this wasn't ARB Air.
This is the best pic I've seen of it (from Motortrend) and we...
