Manual conversion on 6th gen 4Runner (using Tacoma parts)

I'm curious how they came about that number, since I'm not at all familiar about how car sales and/or manufacturing works. Is 10% what the dealers are requesting from Toyota to manufacture based on their estimated demand? And if 10% is what is being allocated for manual production, are they all...

    2025 4Runner Release Date: March 2025

I'd imagine the 4Runner will be similar to the Taco, 20/24, 18/23 for the OR, or the i-force with 22/24. I think if you are enjoying your mpg on the Highlander hybrid, you'll likely be disappointed with the mpg of the new 4Runner. Sure, it'll be better than the 17/19, but not by leaps and bounds.

First Photos: 2025 4Runner TRD Off-Road, TRD Sport, and Platinum Trims 🤩

I was, and I'm pretty excited to pick the OR over the Sport. I'd prefer the smoked taillights and black badges (can't tell if the back "4Runner" emblem is chrome or black), but those things can be changed if I really wanted it to be. Looking forward to more pics/videos, hopefully more will drop...

2025 4Runner 6th Gen's US Launch Delayed Until Dec-Early 2025 Due to Shortage of Parts

I haven't seen anything "official", but we are getting close to the start of the 3 months of Fall, and we have not seen any new information (trims, prices, etc.). I think it's a good as delayed.

    2nd Row Leg Room

I can tell you I sat in a new Taco and an "old" 4Runner, and there was much more leg room in the 4Runner. I'd imagine it would stay that way, even with the more shared components.

2025 4Runner Chief Exterior Designer Talks Details w/ Mudbath 4Runner TRD Pro Walkaround

I'm eagerly awaiting to see the debut of the lower trims without the black fenders (minus the TRD OR, which I'm assuming will have them). I know we've seen the Limited, but I still want to see actual shots of the other trims. Any day now...

    Breaking News (None?)

Just sitting here waiting to see the rest of the models and pricing.

    2025 4Runner TRD Off-Road Spotted!

Seems likely this is a TRD OR. I suspected the lower models would not get the smoked taillights. I'm curious if they'll actually copy the wheels from the Taco or if they'll have their own design.

    6th Gen 4Runner vs. 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st Gen -- exterior & interior comparison

I'd love to know.... I wanted an Xterra since I first laid eyes on them. I've only started wanting a 4Runner since 2017. If they drop a Xterra in the next 1-3 years, I might have a dilemma.

Hybrid Tacoma Pricing (U.S. / Canada), MPG and First Drive Reviews are out, including TRD Pro and Trailhunter

Sure, if you compare absolute base price SR Taco to the base price SR5 4Runner. But trim for trim, it's much closer. 2WD SR5 Taco is $38,120, and the 2WD SR5 4Runner is $42,100 (~10.5% higher). Going to 4WD and the TRD-Sports, the new Taco was $44,095 and the old 4Runner was $46,835 (~6% higher).

    Preview Looks: 2025 4Runner 6th Gen TRD Off-Road, TRD Sport, SR5 Trim

Yes, if you are referencing the update thing, you can sign up for future updates on the official Toyota 2025 4Runner page. I'm hoping they give us steady updates, and that it actually notifies you of impending information on the website.

    Preview Looks: 2025 4Runner 6th Gen TRD Off-Road, TRD Sport, SR5 Trim

You'd think it'd be relatively soon. If they are going on sale this Fall like they claim, people will want to know what trims they want to buy. I signed up for the updates on the website, and I hope they follow through and let us know the second they drop that info.

    Preview Looks: 2025 4Runner 6th Gen TRD Off-Road, TRD Sport, SR5 Trim

I'm digging the Off-road with the Taco wheels. If they carry them over, along with the assumed black door handles and fenders from the Taco Off-road, I'm pretty sure I've picked my trim. Some of the unknowns will be if they have the Toyota trim blacked out on the back, and which taillights...

    Fender Flares for All Trims

If you look at the Limited and Platinum photos, you can see that they have color-matched fenders that aren't as pronounced as the Pro and Trailhunter. If we use the Taco as the base for assumptions, we can assume that, in addition to the Limited and Platinum, the SR5 and TRD-Sport will be color...

Trailhunter 6th Gen 4Runner (Everest color) spotted in the wild

The SR5 and TRD-Sport will probably be more to your style, without the chunky off-road flares. I thought the silver Platinum pic looked real smooth. I'm looking forward to the debut of the lower trims, since I'm not likely to spend top dollar on a Pro or anything above the Sport level.

    2025 4Runner SR5 photos?

I'm considering a SR5 since I would like the 3rd row. With the production starting in the Fall, I'd imagine we won't have to wait too much longer for Toyota to drop the rest of the trims.

Seat fold flat in 2025 4Runner 6th Gen (Hybrid)

Note that this is the hybrid, so the trunk is raised. So either the non-hybrid will have a bigger drop, or it is designed a little bit different and we haven't seen it yet.
