Toyota dealers mostly, but they have other brand dealerships as well they can trade for. Going to try carmax next week they typically offer good prices just waiting for the car I want to be available to trade when I bring it in.
It’s definitely harsher than all previous gens and it ain’t tire pressure lol. It’s a deal breaker for me with my back not being the best. Been shopping around for something different since I got it, luckily most places I’ve taken it to will offer MSRP which is what I paid.
I have an SR5 and honestly I think it's a little more harsh than 5th gen, maybe because they had to account for battery weight in the hybrid. Likely used the same springs in some models so in non-hybrid, the lack of battery weight makes the springs a little too much for the truck. No evidence...
I’d consider the Land Cruiser. It’s does not have a third row, but backseat has much more room than 4Runner. Ride is smoother, price isn’t bad compared to mid to high level 4r trims. Plus it has the cool factor.
Shopped around this weekend. In my area, they are adding +5k to msrp on 4Runners. Got one dealer to give me +1500 over msrp on my sr5 for a Land Cruiser 1958; which would net out ~6k under msrp. Sleeping on it but the LC is def a smoother ride.
No update, still on the fence about throwing money at tires. My back isn’t the best so the jarring nature over bumps makes me not even want to get in the vehicle lol.
So when I’m connected to CarPlay and have it on the display, but playing FM radio, the banner keeps dropping down at the top to display radio station. It’s random but like 10x per minute. Super annoying. I reset CarPlay but nothing. Anyone else have this issue?
I submitted a video to Toyota brand engagement. They called and said they’d work with the dealer service dept to arrange the test when brakes are cold, ie morning after sitting all night. I’ll likely have an appointment soon, will update with results.
Still got it. Main issue is ride quality but might do a tire upgrade at some point. Others with non-sr5 trims seem to have no issue so might just be the stock tires. It’s just real jittery on the road I normally drive.
Bought the wrong vehicle. Rear seating is cramped and just can’t put a car seat back there with how bad this thing rides(tires aired down to 30psi). If you’re on the fence, please find the worst road you can on your test drive.
