No clue... im researching and its possible that its the U-joint? Seems common with trucks at low speed when getting off the gas pedal after a little load (15-20mph then release)
oh man... yeah i haven't felt that kind of symptoms... sorry that its taking you more than 1 visit to get this resolved
just a weird single thump/clunk in the whole car when the momentum shifts from acceleration to deceleration like its from the drivetrain.
is it just a single clunk when you brake? Trying to see if mine has that issue with the steering column or if its just the normal drivetrain personality.
I thought the * was the catch but it is not when you open it.
Either way... if that feature was so important for OP, I'm kinda confused why he didn't test or check it out before signing papers.
No. It DOES say "Hands-free power liftgate with power rear window". Toyota website.
I'll repeat myself again, when you compare trims, the Hands Free power liftgate shows as NOT AVAILABLE
so based on the screenshot he provided, (and I checked myself on the Toyota Website), it does show that the TRD Off-Road i-FORCE MAX offers the hands-free power lift gate with power rear window. However, when you look at the comparison list, it shows that it is NOT available. It is a bit...
yeah curb weight only accounts for standard equipment, fluids, full tank of gas, no passengers/cargo.
The payload on the sticker (door jamb) supposedly accounts for driver, assumes various options (moonroof, running boards, skid plates, larger tires, etc...) as part of your daily setup so they...
I experience a similar clunk when the momentum shifts from accelerating to decelerating ... more noticeable in low speeds but I just assumed that's the nature of the transmission . Not sure if it was what you experienced since I don't exactly feel it in the steering wheel so not sure if changing...
yeah but i think per the OP's case... highway only.. not sure if being in ECO and hybrid is better than NORMAL mode and hybrid. So that would be the real test
Would be cool to hear back from you!
From my understanding, the hybrid battery is more to help you start off/accelerate and after that it does nothing (great for city but not much affect on hwy)? Like it's more for towing/torque than it is for efficiency. I could be wrong tho...
sorry.. anecdote from reading the forums. I don't have stats on this.
It's also from my experience as well.
The things that have been said using ECO mode was that the engine stays in low gear or take longer to reach optimal speed leading to inefficient driving esp in hilly or high speed/hwy...
