  1. Brake Pads changed for the 2nd time in 22,000 KM - normal?

I'd just like to get the brakes they owe me for the TSB; reverse squeal front pads! Back ordered for who knows how long... C/G
  2. Building iOS App for 6th Gen (fuel, average miles, and other data)

pgrossman -the UI continue to improve - it looks more polished than the initial screenshots. Clean and simple always a great approach. Great work. Keep us posted on the trip and the things you're learning about the interface, maybe some screen shots along the way.
  3. Limited Trim - Seats Creaking

Heard the creaks from your video. I haven't noticed any seat sounds on mine but now you've given me something else to listen for.... C/G
  4. Subscription-based connected services?

That’s exactly what I did (after canceling Music Lover!). Not as confusing after a 10 min convo w/ Toyota sub service. They were very helpful and basically told me not to use ML and go with DC.
  5. Building iOS App for 6th Gen (fuel, average miles, and other data)

Love the mockup. I also use CarPlay the full screen widgets look great!
  6. Building iOS App for 6th Gen (fuel, average miles, and other data)

pgrossman - I have no coding experience so I'm not sure how helpful I could be. However, I would like to be involved in supporting/ working on/ or beta testing. I have many years of experience in working with data, mostly financial and analysis. I'm retired now but spent the last 12 years of my...
  7. What AI has to say about Limited Tire Sizes

Looks great. As always, helpful feedback. Appreciate you and your forum feedback. I imagine being in ND mods to deal with the weather drive a lot of your decisions.
  8. What AI has to say about Limited Tire Sizes

Nodak - any issues with mud flap, assuming you have them.
  9. Subscription-based connected services?

The sales pitch Toyota makes is very misleading. No idea if it’s actually Toyota or a subsidiary, perhaps a little bit for everyone. Someone needs to clean this up. If Toyota were to use what you’ve outlined no doubt subs would approach their choices differently or not at all.
  10. Subscription-based connected services?

Thx 6thGen1419, Drive Connect sounds like the best bet based on your description. That keeps everything the same as the trial, assuming you are using your own data to manage CarPlay/AA. CG
  11. Subscription-based connected services?

I believe the Unlimited Integrated Streaming is the Premium Plan? Not sure. My goal is to have all CarPlay integrated into that giant 14” screen whether it’s music or maps. This is uncharted territory for me since I've been using trial services and I don't use the Toyota Integrated info...
  12. Subscription-based connected services?

Do you use Car Connect? That appears to be the biggest advantage for the subscription model.
  13. Subscription-based connected services?

Toyota’s media/description is very misleading and confusing.
  14. Subscription-based connected services?

That’s my understanding. My free plan expires in a few days so I signed up for Music Lover.
  15. Subscription-based connected services?

Free Connections Year is up! Has anyone tried plug and play converters into the USB data port in the center console to avoid paying a subscription fee? Specifically for Music Lovers plan. I use CarPlay-Apple. You'll obviously lose the remote connect but maybe it's worth it. I really hate...
  16. What did you do to your 6th Gen 4Runner today?? 👨🏻‍🔧 🧰 đź›

Horn(s). Literally the easiest thing I have ever done - maybe 30 min. It was almost embarrassing to use the factory horn. Same OEM premium Land Cruiser horns lots of forum contributors purchased on Amazon ($75ish). The You Tube installation videos don’t do justice to the actual sound difference...
