  1. Ditch Lights recommendations?

I went with Rigid on Wescott brackets. I’m happy.
  2. AC On switch?

So basically, the AC switch does nothing except take space on the dashboard.
  3. AC On switch?

Interesting. I’m kind of thinking that the switch really does nothing in my TRD Pro with the better climate package. Maybe it’s just a remnant from lower trims without full climate control.
  4. AC On switch?

Anyone have any insight into the purpose of the dash switch AC On? It seems like the climate settings activate the AC as needed for a given temperature setting. What’s the switch there to do?
  5. READY indicator??

Regardless, it seems a little crazy that on an all day drive the truck feels the need to continuously say READY.
  6. READY indicator??

I just find it kind of humorous that it keeps saying READY the whole time the truck is running.
  7. READY indicator??

I’ve noticed a green READY indicator at the bottom left of the instrument panel. It’s always on when I’m driving. Just what exactly am I supposed to be ready for?
  8. Toyota OEM recovery hooks EASY INSTALL!

There is a red OEM rear recovery hook now. My dealer was able to get one an installed it. I do not have the part number. It look great, but it is power-coated red and not anodized like the front hooks.
  9. Mudbath 4Runner TRD Pro - In the Wild on Cross Country Trip to Off-Roading Classes!

It’s called Merus Adventure Park, in Palo Duro Canyon (not the State Park) about an hour from Amarillo. The class was two days, 11 hours the first and 8 hours the second. It includes classroom and wheel time in your own vehicle, as well as live instruction on recovery. It gave me a lot of extra...
  10. Mudbath 4Runner TRD Pro - In the Wild on Cross Country Trip to Off-Roading Classes!

I’m 3,000 miles and 19 days into a cross country trip in my 2025 TRD Pro. The truck has over-performed in everything from 11-hour days of highway driving to off-roading classes in the Texas Panhandle.
  11. Lift gate light

  12. Lift gate light

That may be it. I turned that switch on because I thought it was for the optional lights in the cargo area.
  13. Lift gate light

I've noticed that the lift gate light that is tucked in near the opening switch over the license plate stays on for awhile after I park and walk away. Not sure what purpose it serves, unless it is for unhooking a trailer or something. Has anyone read up on this in the manual?
  14. TRD Pro Fox Shock Adjustments

i have the2025 TRD Pro. I’ve found that the middle setting on the adjustable shocks is very comfortable for everyday driving. I’m getting ready to go on a long trip with a full load of camping gear a lots of highway driving. I’m considering moving the rear shock settings up from 2 to 3. Does...
  15. Budget Tow Hooks?

I got the front recovery points as a port installed option and really like the red anodized finish. Toyota finally came out with a rear one in red. I just had it installed yesterday. It looks great with Mudbath, but I was disappointed that it is powder coated and not anodized. I thought they...
  16. Ice in the Roof Rack

Not sure I understand what you are talking about. Tell me more.
  17. Ice in the Roof Rack

Being a newbie, I guess I could have thought about getting snow out of the roof rack. The crazy storm last week left our area, first with dry snow and then with a cover of sleet that turned into what they are now calling, "snowcrete," as the temps stayed in the teens and twenties over the past...
  18. My JBL audio system upgrade adventure for decent sound. Review of Trailgridpro set and Beatsonic Encore X.

Wow! That looks like a ton of work! I hope you get paid to do this for a living. I'm pretty okay with the stock JBL setup that came in the TRD Pro. Sure, the subwoofer doesn't exactly shake the neighborhood, but I'm okay with that.
