  1. WeatherTech vs Lasfit floor mats

It's very possible. I think more likely though, the lower price point of the Lasfits plays into the love for them. The Weathertech HP's though seem like they are a nice rubbery material and I think they are going to be a solid choice for me.
  2. WeatherTech vs Lasfit floor mats

Wasn't really a fit issue. Just some wonky areas on them that werent formed right at the factory. I wasn't a fan of these. They've already been sent back and I ordered the HP's from WT. Figured I'd give Lasfit a try but these aren't for me.
  3. WeatherTech vs Lasfit floor mats

The Weathertech HP are way more pliable than the Lasfits. They are more rubbery than plasticky. At the end of the day the lasfit just weren't for me. Great coverage but just overall seems to cheap to me. I'd rather pony up the extra cash and go with the HP's. Ill post some pics when the come in.
  4. WeatherTech vs Lasfit floor mats

Will do. I went through a bunch of photos/videos from people online and I have high hopes for em. It became alot easier to justify their price after not being a fan of the Lasfits at all.
  5. WeatherTech vs Lasfit floor mats

I did read the instructions and I've owned plenty of all wether mats for the many vehicles I've owned. I just was not a fan of the quality on these. The main creases from packaging worked themselves out but the folded over edges on the sides had some creases and hard bends in them that were not...
  6. WeatherTech vs Lasfit floor mats

My Lasfit floor liners came in. I wasn't at all happy with the quality. The part that covers the door sills refuses to sit flat, and there are a bunch of creases from shipping that aren't going to work themselves out. Back in the box they went. I ended up ordering the Weathertech HP's. Very...
  7. Accidental Drive Mode Switching by bumping dial

I understand what you mean here. On my 25 Tacoma the knob turned if you even looked at it. It required almost no pressure to move it between 2 and 4wd. My 4runner dosen't have this issue.
  8. Accidental Drive Mode Switching by bumping dial

I haven't done this yet on my 4runner but on my 25 Tacoma that has the same switch I did it twice. Not sure how it happened either time but somehow I must have bumped it.
  9. WeatherTech vs Lasfit floor mats

I ended up going with Lasfits as well. The top of the line Weathertech mats are well over 200. That wouldn't be an issue if enough reviews spoke highly of them. What I'm gathering is that their quality has gone downhill. I'm keeping me oem cargo mat, and I ordered the Lasfit front and rear floor...
  10. Any updates on OEM 2.5" TRD Suspension Lift?

I never heard that term either, but it would immediately make sense if you ever saw a stinkbug. If you look at one, the way they sit is with their front higher than their rear.
  11. WeatherTech vs Lasfit floor mats

The drivers side dosen't, which is a shame because I like Husky Liners materials. I ended up ordering the Lasfits. Hoping I like them.
  12. WeatherTech vs Lasfit floor mats

I really wish Husky liners did their homework better on our trucks. I had a set of them on my 25 Tacoma. The coverage and durability was great, but the drivers side corner refused to lay flat, even after 14 mos in the vehicle. I read comments on here from people stating that they had the same...
  13. 2026 4Runner SR5 Build

Nice build!! Gotta love an SR5 build. To me they just look cool built up without making it look like you tried too hard. I traded in a 25 Tacoma SR5 for my 26 4runner TRD OR. My Tacoma was lifted on 5100s with 33's on 0 offset KMC 717's. I used to get more compliments on her than probably any...
  14. What did you do to your 6th Gen 4Runner today?? 👨🏻‍🔧 🧰 🛠

I do have the full sized spare. If you use a short 17mm socket you can break that upper bolt loose then back it the rest of the way out using your fingers. When reinstalling that bolt on the new recovery hook, thread it in by hand. When it gets hand tight, use a torque wrench and send her home...
  15. What did you do to your 6th Gen 4Runner today?? 👨🏻‍🔧 🧰 🛠

Installed front and rear recovery hooks.
  16. TRD Performance Cat-Back Exhaust - reviews / impressions?

When you say we, are there 2 of you? Also, I will decide when I have said enough, not you. Thank you. I'm guessing that my comments really got to you somehow though, huh? Wasn't my intention.
  17. TRD Performance Cat-Back Exhaust - reviews / impressions?

The tldr. Turn your radio up and you won't know how bad the exhaust sounds?
  18. 4Runner paint quality?

This is the truth. This isn't a problem specific to Toyota. The way paint is applied today is much different than how it used to be applied. It's much softer and prone to chipping.
