  1. Dobinsons Lift Kit Install Overview

Michael was very helpful to me through the sale process, good luck!
  2. WeatherTech vs Lasfit floor mats

Very happy with my Weathertech. I especially like how far forward their rear cargo mat goes.
  3. Dobinsons Lift Kit Install Overview

They are 275/70/18, unfortunately the lift makes them look small. I want to keep the spare under the vehicle and that looked to be as large as I could go without modifying the vehicle.
  4. Dobinsons Lift Kit Install Overview

After dragging my undercarriage on the roads on a friend's ranch, I decided to put a lift kit on my 2025 TRD Offroad. My 2018 G5 had a Dobinsons kit that I was happy with, so I decided to go with them again. Exit Offroad is one of their U.S. distributors and they helped me figure out what would...
  5. Front Brake Squeal Noise Fix - official TSB brakes fix! (TSB-0046-25)

I first approached my local dealer on this issue 1/16/26 and was told the parts are on backorder and it would be approximately 11 weeks before they would receive the parts to address it. 2 weeks ago (~16 weeks after in initial contact) I followed up and the service department could give me no...
  6. Canvasback Cargo Liners Covers installed (dogs & pets protection)

I got a Weathertech cargo mat and out Lasfit seat back covers on the backs of the rear seats the keep the dog hair. That combo has worked well this far.
  7. "Stock" TRD ORP Trip on Potts Mountain Jeep Trail (onX 7) - It was epic

How well did the Cali Raised slider handle lifting the vehicle with the Hi-Lift? I have those sliders and have not had the confidence to use them as a jacking point like I do with my ‘85.
  8. Bike rack and backing up - problem

You might try depressing the traction control button on the dash for 5 seconds to turn off the collision avoidance and see if that works. If so, that turns back on after you turn off the vehicle so you would need to do that at the start of each trip.
  9. "Toyota Cargo Tray - All Weather 4Runner" -- experience / reviews?

I got the Weathertech mats front, rear and back and am very happy with them. The back mat covers to forward of the rear seat mounts (farther forward than previous rear mats I have had), which is nice. Had Husky in my last 4runner but prefer the Weathertechs. More rubbery, less plasticy so less...
  10. Dealer Negotiation Tips from My 4Runner Purchase (No Games, Real Tactics)

Shopping at the end of the month and end of calendar year can definitely help as dealers are often motivated to make sales to hit manufacturer sales quotas and potentially avoid flooring.
  11. Front wheel well liner insert - recommendations?

I have a new in-box set of those I would be willing to sell. Bought them with the Ark mud flaps (which were the immediate need) and just haven’t gotten around to installing them.
  12. Floor Mat Advice - Best Aftermarket Options?

I got the Weathertech and have been very happy with them. It looks like the mat for the rear extends farther forward and provides more coverage than some other options.
  13. Help! 5th or 6th Gen?????

Having owned a 2010, 2018, and now a 2025, if I had it to do over again I would probably buy a 2023-2024 5th gen. The 6th is too much of a computer for my liking. It has more power but the steering and handling are not as good as my 2018. The interior on the 5th gen seemed to be better thought...
  14. Cali Raised LED Sliders Install Issues

When the nut gets tight enough, the actuating "wing" on the bolt will ground against the inside of the frame and the bolt will stop turning (per an email I got from Cali Raised LED, which aligns with my experience). You can then torque to spec. You might need a deep socket to make that work...
  15. Spare Tire Protection Shield or Cover (for Rocks / Ground / Ditches)?

Since Toyota decided to make the spare tire the lowest part of the vehicle from a departure angle-perspective, I was wondering if anyone found a product to protect the spare's sidewall from abrasion when crossing ditches or scraping over rocks? The only product I have found (HDPE disk that bolts...
  16. Cali Raised LED Sliders Install Issues

I used a torque wrench to get to 18 lb/ft and found that was just over what I was able to get I really cranked on my 15mm ratcheting wrench (~9" long).
  17. Front skid plate for 6th gen 4Runner?

I got an aluminum Rival skid, quick shipping and very easy to mount up. It doesn't seem like it would hold up well to dragging over rocks, but should suffice for my needs.
  18. Cali Raised LED Sliders Install Issues

I had a similar issue keeping the bolt from turning with a screwdriver once it started to get fairly tight - but not tight enough that the anchor stopped it from turning - due to the limited space under the vehicle. I bought 2 10mm 1.50 jam nuts and tightened them together at the tip of the bolt...
