Old thread but do you know what exactly was "not in spec"? I'm guessing the 6th gen lugnuts are too large to seat into the 5th gen wheels due to the stud being larger? Have a set of these wheels in the basement I was considering running on my 6th gen I have a deposit down on.

Update, went to another dealer who offered $6k off sticker for same trim but in red. Would have pulled the trigger but wife said absolutely not red lol If you're in oregon/washington it seems like dealers are willing to make some deals to move 4runners!
