Does anyone know where the fuse for the rear 12-volt power outlet (next to the air compressor) on a Trailhunter might be?
The one in the front console works and the air compressor turns on. The manual is no help and the fuse position diagrams on the fuse block covers only show P/OUTLET 1 which...
Overall, I love my TH. It's such a nice upgrade from the Gen 1 4Runner SR5.
Things that are less-than-stellar are the snorkel noise, the hatchback kick sensor -- I can never get it to work reliably, there's no way to turn on the A/C output without the engine running -- at least let me turn it...
Have you calibrated the seat? There's a procedure for that. IIRC, you can tell if it's not if it beeps while you're moving the seat.
What I have noticed is that it's supposed to position everything when you either start the vehicle or plug the seat belt in but sometimes it forgets to do that.
Okay, so you ran cable to the radio along the driver's side. Did you go under the carpet? Under the plastic at the door? Past the center console?
I'd like to use this to run the antenna cable up to the roof rack...
I bought my TH in May and now that it's January, it seems like I see the Max gauge (the electric motor part of the system) spooling up less than I did in warmer weather. Or maybe the dealer screwed something up when I had to have an oxygen sensor replaced. Or I'm just crazy. Anyone else...
Bastards! Mine TH didn't come with one and I had to point out to the dealer guy that the Bluetooth speaker wasn't installed. I didn't know the lantern was a thing until I saw it on a YouTube video. I keep a LED hazard beacon in that compartment though.
So, this happened on Monday morning on my Trailhunter.
I took it to the dealer. Two hours later, they said that it was a bad oxygen sensor.
I asked the service manager why all those errors appeared and he said that Toyotas are funky. When one thing throws an error, other subsystems join the party.
I'm hoping the aftermarket will come up with a diverter that you can switch as needed. I often drive in dusty environments so I get having the air intake above a lot of that but the noise when driving around town means I can't roll the passenger window down. Of course, now that cold weather is...
I had my 5000 mile service done and added an oil change. I could be nuts but it seems like the MPG is better after that.
That said, the EPA in its infinite wisdom does highway mileage testing at 60 MPH. I don't know anyone in the southwest who drives that slowly on the highway.
