I have this installed as well, hasn't come loose in 6+ months. Looks-wise I think it's a slight downgrade from the OEM shifter, but it feels way more premium. The OEM shifter for me had a bit of jiggle to it, and the thumb button felt kind of sticky/clunky which I hated. The Teton knob feels...
I don't have them but like the idea of side panels that don't require a full aftermarket roof rack. It looks like you have to move the rear crossbar up like a full foot to fit them though -- as someone who uses my crossbars a lot that's a no-go for me. Looks goofy and I doubt it's safe to...
Yeah, I remember this -- each panel comes with a full bag of bolts and spacers for both sides. Even if you only buy one panel you get bolts for both, if you buy two you get two full sets. I guess it saves them more on packaging to just have one set/bag whether or not you buy one or two. Don't...
Did you just get one panel? I think if you buy a single window panel it still comes with the mounting hardware for both. There are three attachment points for each panel so you should have the big bolt for the top + a bolt and spacer for each bottom corner (don't recall which gets the longer one).
See my previous post -- apparently it can be done with the "wrong" lug nuts, but Discount Tire very strongly recommended against it. I'm also incredibly glad I didn't end up going with the 0 offsets -- even at +20mm with my Fuel Shoks, I got a decent bit of rub at full lock. I installed the...
Also have an ORP -- the only rattle I get is something around the center console when I hit a very hard bump -- and I suspect this is just something that's in my console rather than the console itself. I even have the full CaliRaised interior molle panels and top shelf and they don't rattle at...
I bought the full length flaps and realized they're quite a bit longer than the OEMs, so I ordered the Mids. Had no issue emailing them to request a return -- Jason responded within a day with a pre-paid return label.
I installed the TRD Pro ARK mids on my ORP to account for the extra tire poke (+20mm) -- the OEM flaps were woefully inadequate with the wider tires. The OEM flaps also have a point that sticks out more in the tire well which caused some rubbing, and they are horribly inflexible if you drag them...
Sorry if it's a dumb question, but if you trimmed off a tab, what's holding the felt liner in position where you pushed it forward? What keeps it from just flexing back to its original position and hanging there? Would love a picture or two if you have the time!
I was watching this build video from Westcott and they mention "pushing the liner forward" and something about trimming the clips to clear rub. I have just a tiny bit of rub in the front at full lock with +20mm offset and 285s, and I'm curious how they accomplished this, but I can't find any...
Yeah, I didn't realize the PRO only came in hybrid, that would be a no-go for me as well. I did see one in Mudbath yesterday though and damn it looks good. Never thought I liked Mudbath all that much from pictures online but it definitely turned my head in person.
Oh dang, I knew about most of the other differences but never realized they had a different corner panel there too. At this point cost-wise I'm definitely approaching "should have just bought a Pro" territory.... do you think the wife would notice?
I just got the front level kit installed last week and thought I was pretty much done with mods for a while. Only other thing I was thinking about was the wider fender flares since my wheels are +20mm. So of all the parts I could have busted, losing a fender I was already going to replace isn't...
Finally got some snow up in the Tennessee mountains near the Ocoee. Had a great time driving forest roads and hiking creeks with the pup. Other than a low fuel situation where the gas door mechanism was frozen shut, my ORP performed beautifully and I was very impressed with my new AT3s...
I don't think you can sadly. There's the mini display that pops up when in ACC but I want the full size view when using it -- I have had it fail to detect the car in front of me a few times in the rain and that's a situation I definitely want to be aware of. But I agree the big cruise control...
I regret NOT adding a protector to the 8" dash screen immediately. I've dusted it maybe 5 times, always with microfiber, and it's scratched to shit. Looks fine until the sun catches it, then it looks like a mess.
I did add the Spigen matte protector to the 14" screen and it's been excellent...
