    Dog cargo liner

I'm double protected. I bought the all weather cargo matt from the parts store at my local Toyota dealership ($110 before tax), then I put this over it, which works fine ... https://a.co/d/bkYKsaR (paid $33.77 after tax).

Durability testing 2025 4Runner 6th aftermarket parts build in Mexico (Video)

Note to self: Don't buy a used 4Runner from this man.

    6th Gen + Snow = Amazing

Thanks. That's interesting. I don't think I've ever seen a stock vehicle not recommended chains. I've got a set of KO3s and a set of KM3s for my Jeep. I've been impressed with them in ice and snow. I'll put some freeway miles on the 4Runner stock tires this summer before I get new ones, but KO3s...

    6th Gen + Snow = Amazing

Did Is that in the manual? I don't remember tripping across any recommendations related to chains, but I will look for this later

Matte purple wrapped 2025 4Runner 6th gen is wild!

If you modify a real image enough it starts to look AI generated. I thought this one might be because of the detail (or lack thereof) around shadows and lettering. FWIW, for anyone that wonders why I'd even care, I'm just curious (professional and personal interests in photography, graphic...

Matte purple wrapped 2025 4Runner 6th gen is wild!

Are the images AI generated (or augmented)? It's getting harder to tell nowadays.

    Observations after 500 miles

Overall I love it. It's too early to tell a lot of things, but it drives great, it's comfortable, and visibility is good. I miss having more room in my Ram 1500 crew cab, but that's probably a weird comparison for most people. I had a 4th Gen limited that felt a little higher quality with its...

    Observations after 500 miles

I've read through most of the manual, and eventually I will get through all of it several times over like I have with my past vehicles. It's a lot of information to read upfront and then retain every detail for immediate recall with all the other things that require your attention while driving...

    Observations after 500 miles

Heater works fine. It hasn't got hot enough for the A/C to kick in. I tried the cooled seats button once, but it wasn't really warm enough yet. Heated seats and steering wheel work great too. The headlights work fine. One thing to point out is that there's a tilt switch for the headlights that...

    Observations after 500 miles

You're right. I didn't notice it when I was driving for some reason but I just went out and looked at it. I edited the original post with this correction. Thanks!

Good to know. I was wondering about that.

    Observations after 500 miles

I wish they would provide more info on materials, thickness, etc. This one actually looks like it covers more area under the vehicle than the TRD plate - just looking at pictures. I might try to find some more pics of it under a trailhunter later. Thanks for pointing this out.

    Observations after 500 miles

This is a follow-up to my post “Observations after 200 miles” miles here: https://www.4runner6g.com/forum/threads/observations-after-200-miles.2607/ In the 300 miles I have driven since this post, rolling over the 500 mile mark, I’m getting more used to the 4Runner as my daily driver. 500...

Maintenance Schedule Mileage Intervals (Oils, Fluids, Filters, Spark Plugs, Tires, Etc.) for 6th Gen 4Runner (2025+)

For "Special Operating Conditions" the 2025 4Runner maintenance info I received recommends replacing ATF at 60,000 miles and 120,000 miles. "Perform this service if you drive while towing a trailer, using a car-top carrier, or heavy vehicle loading" and "Perform this service if you operate with...

Maintenance Schedule Mileage Intervals (Oils, Fluids, Filters, Spark Plugs, Tires, Etc.) for 6th Gen 4Runner (2025+)

I noticed this too. I downloaded a PDF from the Toyota website for my vehicle that has different info in it. I'm not going to worry about discrepancies in the original post here since I plan to refer to the info I got from Toyota for my specific vehicle (hard copy in glovebox and PDF from website).

TRD Offroad - the bad and the worse

Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) is also different than the Lane Departure Alert (LDA) system. Page 647 indicates LDA can only be disabled via the "multi-information display" (the screen behind the steering wheel that is controlled by buttons on the steering wheel). This is what I saw some folks...

TRD Offroad - the bad and the worse

On page 273: "The LTA will change between ON/OFF each time the LTA switch is pressed". So, LTA is pretty easy to turn off and on.
