In the USA, the Limited is the only non-HV model with Stop and Start Engine System.

Aisin was a department within Toyota that spun off into its own company, of which Toyota owns the biggest share. So yeah, it’s a separate company but it was born out of Toyota and is still tightly affiliated.

Based on reviews the Passport is definitely the way to go if you don’t need or value the incremental capability increase and features of the 4Runner over the passport. The crossover form factor will always win on interior space and driving characteristics on-road.

Payload is rated as 895 for 2-row 4Runners, and 1160 for 3-row. Regardless of trim or whether or not it’s hybrid.
