I kept the OE skid plate and there was no issues with the installation...
I would presume the aftermarket one should work cause you are using the same mounting points..

Getting different answers is definitely frustrating. Thankfully for the Trailhunter 2.5 kit, there is only 1 part number. The kit went on smoothly and I love the look and the ride. No complaints here on Westscott products !!!
I plugged in the info on Pirateship.com and here is what it says... Haven't used them before, or even heard of them. If your interested, I'll dig deeper to get it set up... I'm sure I'd have to wrap each tire really good to make the trip.. :)

Yes, that's all it takes to fit 35's, for the Trailhunter and the TRD Pro..
I just checked their website and their kits for the Trailhunter are up to $618+ shipping.. not much of an increase. It is the Pre Load Collar Kit.

I had a shop i trust do the work, locally (Tigard, Or.) I'm close to the Wa. & Or. Border. That sounds really high. Overall, it was a 5hr job. I'd ask for a price breakdown. The kit for my Trailhunter was only $600. Hope this helps !!
So far, there is no reverse rake and it seems to sit level. I used the top hats, basically everything that came in the kit... very pleased with it!! Hope this helps..
