Contact "Coast Wheels and Tires" in Costa Mesa, CA.
When I did my wheels/tires/leveling kit, I bought everything through them AND had them install it. Pricing for my stuff and list of work:
- Method 703's x4
- Toyo Open Country 285/70r17's (SL load) x4
- ReadyLift Leveling Kit
- Full alignment...
I can only speak for myself, but detailing is a hobby for me. I just happen to own a 4Runner, so I own a clean, detailed 4Runner. Owning a particular vehicle doesn’t mean you have to neglect it. Even people who off-road regularly aren’t doing it seven days a week, so why not enjoy driving a...
I don' think its a hinge problem if where I think the squeak Sween is experiecnig is what I am thinking of.
Does it sounds like its coming from the interior door panel? There have been a few threads and a video from TRD Jon about this. He also had the noise when pulling the door handle to...
So much misinformation about ceramic coatings. I love how on one hand, companies/installers will tout how its tough it is, and then immediately say "but only wash it with ph neutral shampoo". Which is it? Durable or fragile enough to be harmed by a slightly acidic or alkaline soap?
Heres my...
I will probably go this route if I want to get some door edge protection.
I just didn't like the way they looked. It always kinda looked like the front doors were ajar.
I have seen these on different colored cars and they look a lot less obvious. Like on white, they blend in pretty well, but...
It will work just fine. Might be one of the more common set ups.
I have those exact wheels and tires on mine. I do have a ReadyLift leveling kit, but its not needed for fitment, more so just looks:
Update, you were 100% right. I was getting into my car this morning and just decided to see what happens if I pulled harder and they popped right off.
Thank you sir!
As someone who doesn't own a roof rack, never owned a roof rack and have zero experience in using a roof rack, I have heard Sherpa is the gold standard for roof racks. I love that they don't rely on silicon sealant to seal it, rather they supply rubber blocks to do the work of sealing it, which...
I was thinking about doing that, but didn't know if that would work 😅 . I tried doing it half heartedly and it didn't move, so I just assumed it would take more force than that. I am going to give that a go tonight and report back.
Thank you!
Hello,
Has anyone removed their factory door edge guards? Mine came installed even though I didn’t want them, and I’m not a fan of how they look.
Before I take them off, I wanted to see if anyone else has done this and has tips for removing them as cleanly as possible.
I know they’re...
As someone with a SR5, it looks like I can only order the "Rally" version, not the "High Clearance" ones. I wonder if the "Rally" versions will work with the 285/70r17s that so many of us are running.
On the site, it says its made for stock or close to stock wheel setups, so I wonder if 33"...
Nope! I had one guy commit to picking them up, so I closed the listing since I was literally getting dozens of messages at 1am. Then the guy just flaked out about 30 min ago, but I will not be relisting it. Not worth the trouble to give something away.
If no one on here takes them, I will just...
Thats perfect.
This is the first time I have done a windshield tint. I ended up doing:
55% in the windshield,
20% for the front 2 windows
55% for all the rear glass.
The 20% fronts luckily matched the factory tinted rears with the added 55%.
Half me wishes I did the windshield more clear...
In Riverside and LA, there are a ton of these suppliers who design the stuff in-house, then get them manufactured overseas.
Again, absolutely nothing wrong with that (I mean, its 99% of what the company's in the US do, including Apple's careful usage of their "Designed in California" language)...
Not that it really matters as far as build quality goes, but they are a parts supplier that happens to be located in Corona CA, but they are not a manufacturer. They are most definitely made in China but shipped out of their Corona warehouse.
I use your videos all the time. I ordered the hood insulation from your affiliate link (Kevin Miser on YouTube). Thanks for showcasing all the small upgrades on the 4Runner, they are a huge help and have guided a lot of little but sweet upgrades I have bought!
The ones that I rank the highest in terms of impact are (all of these added up was around $4600):
Wheels - Method 703's
Tires - Toyo Open Country AT3's 285/70r17
Leveling Kit - ReadyLift
Rock Sliders - Iron Ryno Fabrication
Tint all windows including windshield - Xpel XR Black
The other ones I...
